Install Oracle Data Access Component

The installation guide is for the following base configuration:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Standard Edition 6.1.7600
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, Standard Edition 10.5

Oracle Client 64 Bit Installation

Installation steps:

1. Download Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Client (11.2.0.1.0) for Microsof WIndows (x64) from Oracle.
   http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-win64soft-094461.html
   Binary file name: win64_11gR2_client.zip.
2. Unzip to a folder.
3. Select setup.exe, right-click and then click Run as administrator.
   
   
    
4. Select Custom and click Next.
   
   
    
5. Select the required languages and click Next.
   
   
    
6. Select installation locations and click Next.
   
   
    
7. Select Oracle Provider for OLE DB and Oracle Data Provider for .NET as installation locations and click Next.
   
   
    
8. Check the status and click Finish to start installation.
   
   
    
9. Click Close when the installation is completed.
   
   

Oracle Client 32bit installation

Installation steps:

1. Download Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Client (11.2.0.1.0) for Microsof WIndows (x62) from Oracle.
   http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-win32soft-098987.html
   Binary file name: win32_11gR2_client.zip.
2. Unzip to a folder.
3. Select setup.exe, right-click and click Run as administrator.
   
   
    
4. Select Custom and click Next.
   
   
    
5. Select the required languages and click Next.
   
   
    
6. Select installation locations and click Next.
   
   
    
7. Select Oracle Provider for OLE DB and Oracle Data Provider for .NET as installation locations and click Next.
   
   

    

8. Check the status and click Finish to start installation.
   
   
    
9. Click Close when the installation is completed.
