Guide Conventions

This is a list of common formatting and other conventions used in the IFS Applications Technical Documentation.

Element Description
<xxx> The bracketed element denotes a placeholder. This is to be substituted with an actual value when used as input or in scripts or programs.
BEGIN The typical format for source code, scripts etc.
file.com Filenames are formatted like the place holders.
Data Archive Overview References to windows are written in bold italics. This may be a title of a form, tab or a web page or a portlet.
Start Job Referring to functions and labels inside forms use the bold face.
