IFS Connect Administration
IFS Connect Administration features will allow the administration user to explore messages in the
Message Queues and the Message Archive. It also provides the ability to restart failed
messages and to start/stop Application Server background tasks.
There is also a concept of Monitoring and Troubleshooting that is very important
for the administrator to have knowledge about.
IFS Connect contains administration clients for:
- Exploring all Message queues. Ability to restart failed messages
- Searching messages in the Message Archive
- Handling all Application Server Tasks. Ability to
view, start, and stop of the tasks.

IFS Connect Message Queues are used for different purposes, such as:
- Storage of messages when they are processed asynchronously

- Storage of events

Message Archive in IFS Connect is a separate placeholder for archived
messages. System administrators can use message archiving functionality to
move processed and older application messages to Message Archive for future
reference.

Server tasks
IFS Connect
includes background and scheduling
