A Search Domain is an object that is used by Foundation1 Concept Application Search, which brings text search capabilities to IFS Applications. The Search Domain defines which Entities and Attributes that are possible to search on within the Search Domain. The Search Domain can consist of Aggregates and References to Entities that has relations to the Search Domain master entity in some way.
The Search Domain model is used to generate code that builds a XML document that is indexed by Oracle Text. Oracle Text makes all the attributes values searchable.
